The hat of the young mushroom is arched, its edge slightly tucked up, then straightens out, and in the mature stage it is directed upwards. The oyster mushroom blades are white, short shank, white or gray, usually mounted on the side of the hat, because the fungus grows sideways from the ground (which is vertical) or slightly sloping. The flesh of the oyster mushroom is white and firm, with a very aromatic smell and taste similar to the taste of valued forest mushrooms. The fruiting bodies of some varieties b. they grow on the substrate in bundles, i.e.. from one base there are many stems with caps, others after 2…3 art.

The nutrient substrate is the wood of many species of deciduous trees (oak, buk, horse chestnut, Walnut, poplar, willow, birch). Straw of winter cereals is used for commercial production.
