How to water the garden?

The basis of a beautiful garden is beautiful plants and a lawn, which need a lot of water to grow healthily and quickly. There are many ways to provide the plants with water - you can water the plants with a hose, or a watering can, using various types of portable sprinklers, after all, an automatic irrigation system can be used to water the garden. The latter method is by far the most efficient and convenient method of irrigation.

What is an irrigation system and why you should have one?

An irrigation system consists of a buried system of pipes carrying water to various types of emitters at their ends, e.g.. sprinklers, drippers, drip lines, or micro sprinklers and automation, which the drivers consist of, electrozawory, rain sensors, soil moisture sensors, weather stations. The irrigation system works automatically – all the garden owner has to do is enter the program, according to which the system is to work. Depending on the weather conditions, the controller modifies the irrigation program, e.g.. turns off the system if it rains, or the soil is sufficiently moist.

Automatic irrigation systems have many advantages, that encourage you to install them in your home garden. Here are the most important of them:

  • irrigation system always “Remembers” about watering the garden, when necessary and you can, for example,. calmly go on vacation and do not worry about it, in what condition will the garden be after our return if in the meantime there is a drought
  • the irrigation system saves the time of the garden owner - it takes up to several hours to water a large garden with a hose on a hot summer day. Hardly anyone has so much time and patience.
  • the system waters the garden at the optimal time of the day, which is the early morning hours - getting up in the summer at five o'clock in the morning, to water the garden is certainly not pleasant, and in sunny weather this is the only season, at which you can water your lawn and plants without risk
  • irrigation system saves water - the amount of water, that a well-designed irrigation system uses for watering is less than the amount, which we will use when watering by hand, or with portable sprinklers, because the irrigation system distributes the water evenly and in an optimized way
  • all elements of the irrigation system are hidden underground, therefore they do not interfere with the use and care of the garden - a big disadvantage of watering with various types of portable sprinklers, is it, that you need to bring a water hose to them, which is often quite troublesome and disturbs the use of the garden.

Of course, all these advantages will be really advantages if the irrigation system is properly designed and implemented. Unprofessional assembly, wrong selection of components, or assembly of low-quality components (np. the so-called. "Supermarket"), may result in this, that the irrigation system will not work properly and can only be a hassle. That is why we encourage you, to entrust the design and installation of the irrigation system to professionals.
