Child-friendly garden – how to create it
The garden is a place to rest and play for the whole family, including the youngest members – children. Designing a garden, in which time children will spend, attention should be paid to several aspects, so that our backyard garden is an attractive place for them, but also safe.

Playground
The most important place for children in the garden will certainly be the playground. Depending on the age of the child, play equipment should be found here, slides, Swings, climbing walls, sandboxes, etc.. It is very important that the playground is properly located in the garden. The playground should be in such a place, so that parents can keep an eye on their children all the time – it is best if it is found, for example. close to the windows from the kitchen, or living room. The playground should be at least partially shaded. It is particularly important that the place, in which children play shaded was at noon and early afternoon. A good solution is to locate the playground in a soft neighborhood, non-stinging vegetation, which will cushion children's falls.
In addition to the playground, an important place in the children's garden will be a playground. On the pitch, the extensive, equal area of lawn. The most advantageous space is such a space, as in the case of the playground, surround with plantings of trees and shrubs with soft and spineless shoots, that will alleviate falls and safely brake the speeding baby.
Safe materials
When creating a child-friendly garden, you should take care of, to use materials that are safe for them. Absolutely avoid in places where children will play the placement of elements with sharp edges. Near the swings, slides, etc.. there should be no larger boulders, Curbs, or concrete elements. A good solution is to locate a playground on the lawn, or spilling a few centimeters of sand under play equipment. An excellent surface for placing a playground on it is a surface made of special rubber elements.
A big threat to children in the garden are larger ponds and ponds. If you plan to place such a facility in the garden, you should ensure that the banks of the water reservoir are as gentle as possible, so that if the child falls into it, he can easily get out of it. It is good to make it as difficult as possible for children to access ponds and ponds by surrounding them with dense vegetation, or low fence.
Proper selection of plants
In a child-friendly garden, plants should be deliberately planted. Plants should be chosen, which are not poisonous and so eg. yew should be avoided, goldencaps, or snowflake. Important when choosing plants is this, to use thorny plants to a limited extent – in places, in which our children will play should avoid barberries, flames, pink, Blackthorn, needle. Sensational for planting places of activity children will be plants with soft branches and leaves – if the child falls into such vegetation, he will not be harmed, and many a fall of a speeding toddler can be amortized, eg. through a low hedge of low deciduous shrubs marking the boundaries of the playground.
