What's included in the garden design?

On the example of a backyard garden project, we will present you what elements the project prepared by us contains.. Basic documents form the backbone of the study, while additional documents are drawn up as necessary, or customer wishes.
Basic documents:
- Garden concept – this is a general description of the function and character of the designed garden, which explains the solutions adopted in the draft in a framework way
- Plan of garden surfaces – this is the plan, on which we present surface elements in the garden. This is the starting plan, who organizes the garden and informs you, for example. where and what size will the lawn be, flower bed with bushes, paving stone surface, place for a gazebo, or woodshed, pond, etc.. This plan allows you to quickly get an idea of, how the garden will be organized and decorated. At the design stage, this plan should be very carefully thought out and clarified, because it decisively affects the character and functionality of the future garden.
- Planting plan – this is the plan, which determines where and in what spacing individual plants will be planted. This is a very important document, which should be well thought out, because well-chosen and arranged plants to the greatest extent determine not only the beauty of the garden, but also about how much work will be required to maintain it. Choosing unsuitable plants, planting plants too densely, or too rarely is one of the most common and difficult to correct mistakes made when setting up a garden.
- Plant and material specifications – these are tabular lists showing how many and what plants and materials you will need to set up a garden. These statements are the basis for drawing up a cost estimate.
Additional documents:
- Visualizations of the garden – these are drawings, or photomontages showing you the appearance of the garden a few years after its establishment. They allow you to imagine, how the space around your home will change, making it easier to decide on the choice of specific solutions. We prepare such drawings at the customer's request. Their number depends on the size of the garden and the degree of its complication.
- Irrigation system plan – it is a plan showing the location of the automatic irrigation installation. It shows the course of supply pipes, arrangement of sprinklers and emitters and arrangement of automation controlling the system. This plan shall be drawn up in the case of, when you decide to set up an irrigation system in the garden. The plan is accompanied by a specification of the materials needed to assemble the system.
- Plans and drawings of elements of small architecture, garden paths, low walls, water elements, etc.. – these are plans and drawings drawn up as necessary, if you decide to place such objects in your garden.
