A real cardboard house. Your own toddlers' house is a guarantee of good fun. Thanks to the simple structure of the walls made of cardboard, it is easy to build and just as easy to disassemble, when the kids get bored.
The playhouse gives children a shelter from their parents, with the ability to track everything, what is happening in the apartment. However, this structure has even more advantages. It is made of cardboard sheets with a honeycomb structure, making it light as a feather, it can be done in one day, and when unfolded, it forms a six-centimeter-thick packet, easy to hide behind the wardrobe.
Building Materials, that is, ribbed and corrugated board for covering the roof and shutters, can be purchased at specialized stationery stores.
Base material, thanks to its honeycomb-like structure, it is stiff and resistant to breaking. Unfortunately, it's not easy to buy, but it's easier to get it for free – in the form of used large cardboard packages, available in all supermarkets and large stores. After removing the staples and gluing the intersections and folds on both sides with strong wrapping paper, we will obtain a full-fledged material for marking and cutting out elements of the house.
If our children want to decorate the house by themselves according to their own projects, we can buy them appropriate paints, which (according to the European standard) should be resistant to the effects of saliva. Water-borne acrylic varnishes should be applied in a thin layer, so as not to cause folding of the cardboard.
