Wooden gates do not last forever, also those coated with impregnating agents. If such an old garden gate is no longer suitable for renovation, it is not a reason, to wring your hands right away – you have to make a new one.
Gates and wickets can be bought ready-made, in different versions and styles. Unfortunately, they are only offered in standard widths, which for the gates are 100 cm, and for double gates 300 cm. If we are building a new plot, it won't be a problem, because we can place poles or pillars at any distance. The matter becomes complicated, when only the old gate is to be replaced, its width determined by the space between the existing posts. Usually no standard products fit them, so you have to reckon with the necessity to make a custom-made gate.
Finished varnished gates without fittings, made of solid wood, they cost a lot; for made to order (if anyone undertakes it at all) you have to pay even more.
Our proposal is much cheaper. Material for the gate, i.e. pressure-impregnated pine construction timber, we will buy for a tenth of the price of the finished product. In addition, you need to add the cost of a set of metal fittings for both wings and a little more for a special primer and paint that protects the surface from weather conditions..
The gate can be additionally decorated with rich ornaments, initials, house number, and even figurines of birds or animals. We offer complete freedom in this area of work, according to the rule, that everyone has the right to have their own original ideas. The swans shown in the picture are just one of many possible decorations.
