Garden blanket. Also called a dog tag or a straw. They are naturally dry plants, retaining a beautiful color after picking – White, yellow, Orange, pink, red and brown. The bouquet should be cut, when they are not yet fully developed. Better grown from seedlings than sown directly into the ground.
Spinal cord. Also called Chinese lanterns. It is a perennial with red-orange bellows covering the berry. Due to the rapidly growing rhizome, the mycelium should be replanted every three years, so that it does not disturb other plants. Before drying, the leaves are removed, leaving only handbags.
Biennial. Colloquially it is called the silver pieces of Judas. It is a plant with a distinctive, as if parchment, septa. The monthly breaks off, when the fruit is ripe and begins to crack. Only these parchment shells are suitable for a dry bouquet, leaves and pods should be removed. It is a biennial plant, seeds are sown in a seedbed in early summer, and at the end of summer it dives in the fields. In winter, the monthly should be lightly covered with leaves.
Rush pink. Also called dry dog. Like dog tags, it is a naturally dry plant. She is very delicate, reaches a height of up to 30 cm. Suchołuska is grown from seedlings, by planting plants at intervals of 20…30 cm.
Annual dryflower. It is a delicate annual plant with white or purple flowers, reaching a height to 50 cm. It is grown in a similar way to dry rush. To preserve the purple color of flowers, immediately after picking them, they are immersed in a weak vinegar solution.
Worried. The whole family of truffles is a valuable component of dry bouquets. Perennial shrub is an annual plant with a branched stem and numerous small flowers. However, the ornaments are not flowers, but the parts of the chalice, remaining after the white petals fall. The sepals may be yellow, pink, blue or purple. It is grown from seedlings. Also, Suvorov is an annual plant. On the stems up to 50 cm forms dense pink inflorescences. The disturbed broadleaf and tartar are perennials. As previously mentioned, they have widely branched shoots, profusely sprinkled with small flowers. The broadleaf scarlet has small blue-violet flowers, while the Tartar worried – purple in color, after flowering, the silvery-gray sepals remain. All perturbed are grown from seedlings.
Grasses. They greatly enhance the aesthetic value of dry bouquets. These are plants that look nice not only when dry, so it is worth sowing them in the garden for decoration. Seeds of many grasses should be available in seed shops, including maned barley, brownies, mietlicy, quivering or delicate egg blossoms, fluffy ears. They are sown directly into the ground in late April or early May. The grasses are cut off before they start to bloom, i.e.. before anthers appear in the ears, so that they do not fall apart after drying.
