Trees and shrubs give shade, cover ugly places and make, that the garden becomes quiet and cozy. Unfortunately, in the generally small area of gardens, there is often simply no space for large trees, which would have shaded the area more and more over the years. However, it is worth choosing smaller trees and shrubs with ornamental flowers, leaves or fruit. Ornamental flowering shrubs are planted singly or in small groups, past 2…3 art, in the back of the garden or on the lawn. They belong to shrubs with beautiful flowers: bez lilac, forsythia, rhododendron, tonsil (three-lobed almond), kalina, laburnum, rose. Tall shrubs, compact habit, is placed next to the fence, where they provide excellent protection against wind and dust. Barberry can be used for this purpose, Tawułka, jasmine. Low shrubs, creeping up, like a cotoneaster, cinquefoil, creeping juniper and broom, look good next to stairs, terraces and slopes. Coniferous shrubs, green also in winter, it is usually planted like this, so that they are visible from the windows. Junipers look nice, yews and cypresses. Fall is the best time to plant deciduous trees and shrubs. On the other hand, evergreen and coniferous deciduous trees and shrubs are planted at the turn of April and May
or in August, provided, that they are planted with a large root ball. The soil is prepared in advance, bringing in fertilizers: a large dose of manure (30…50 kg and 10 m2) or fertilizer from the mushroom farm, compost, mineral fertilizers, np. Fruit-1, Azofoski (4…5 day/m2). The fertilizer is mixed with the soil, digging it to the depth of the shovel.
