The bookcase we present is suspended on tight steel strings, making it look light and transparent. These features are the main advantage of racks placed across the rooms. One of them is slowly gliding in the air, and the second - cheaper – it is screwed with one of the sides to the wooden slats on the wall.
1. Final cable tensioner in the right corner, for tensioning and fastening at the same time, must first be unscrewed, to enable the installation of a wire rope. Then the mounting bolt with the dowel must be anchored in the floor and the tensioner must be screwed on it.
2. Angle tensioner (adjustable from 0 do 180 degrees) is mounted at an angle.
3+4. The shelves on the wall side are fixed with self-made wooden elements, a 5, on the other side, directly on the ropes with the use of special grips. You can buy all the materials and components you need at hardware stores or DIY stores.
The shelves are attached to the wall with wooden strips, which, in the case of sloping walls, must be cut in accordance with the angle of inclination.
