Whitish gallon

Galtonia candicansWhitish gallon – The structure of Galtonia candicans resembles the well-known summer hyacinth, although it is several times larger than it. It grows up to 120 cm, has a stiff thick stem, on which many develop, loosely set bell-shaped flowers. The flowers smell delicately, greenish in buds, then white. Galtons bloom for a long time in July and August. They look especially beautiful in small groups on the lawn and among low perennials in the bed. They are also suitable for cutting. Onions, which are very large, must be planted in late April or early May in fertile moist soil. Every year in the fall they need to be excavated.
