PRODUCTION OF FOAM FORMS OF AGGREST AND CURRENTS

PRODUCTION OF FOAM FORMS OF AGGREST AND CURRENTS
Foam forms of aggression and color currant are obtained by grafting on strongly developed shoots (washers) golden currant, at a height from 60 do 120 cm from the ground.
Golden currant rootstocks are planted in the nursery with the recommended spacing for fruit tree rootstocks. Gooseberry grafting by application or in a side gap is carried out in August or only in the early spring of the following year.. Short scions are used for grafting, 2-3-eyelets. Slips for vaccination should be harvested at the beginning of winter and vaccinated before swelling of the buds. Nursing treatments after the scions are adopted consist of cutting the raffia, removing the golden currant side shoots and cutting them out later for a wedding ring. In the spring of the third year, the shoots in the crown of the gooseberries or currants are pruned on 2-3 mesh. By the end of the year, gooseberries and standard currants reach the dimensions specified by the standard.
Foam gooseberry with better results is produced in a heated greenhouse. For this purpose, in the fall, strongly rooted rootstocks of golden currant are planted in the pots and grafted in March after the vegetation has started. Rootstocks with adopted scions are planted in the nursery in May. Under very good conditions, a large number of plants can be sold in the first year.
