Hawthorn
a thorn shrub or tree of height to 8 m. Lobed or lobed leaves. It blooms in May and June. White flowers, myotrophic. Stone fruit, krwistoczerwone, spherical, hard, not very juicy, bitter-sour, it meets from August to October (slightly frozen fruits are best for preserves, however, they then have fewer vitamins and are unstable). Five species of hawthorn grow in Poland.; najpospolitsze it: single neck (all over the lowlands) and two-necked (in the foothills and low-lying mountain areas).
