Bean ring bacteriosis – initially appears on seedlings as reddish-brown spots, which are then slightly raised on the pods and stems and appear greasy, hence, bean ring bacteriosis is also called bean fatty disease. Sometimes whole plants die. Red irregular spots are also found on the seeds. The development of the disease is favored by high humidity and shade when sowing the beans too densely.
