Because it is enough to fix them with the appropriate glue, drilling becomes unnecessary (an advantage with underfloor heating!).
The best for joining with other carpets are the squares cut from the carpet with dimensions from 20 x 20 cm do 24 x 24 cm. Thanks to this, from standard tiles (50 x 50 cm) can be cut 4 decorative squares.
The squares are glued to the clean floor with double-sided adhesive tape. To get a regular pattern, We start gluing from the middle of the floor and go towards the walls.
The part for relaxation and reading is visually separated from the rest of the room by a different type of carpet. Laminate with a carpet flooring looks elegant, when both materials have the same height and are joined by a discreet profile.
Profiles are used when joining two different coverings of the same or similar thickness. Thanks to them, it is possible to eliminate changes in length caused by expansion of materials. Differential profiles are installed between coverings of different thicknesses (bottom photo), creating a smooth transition. They are most often set at the threshold; between two rooms.
