Sea buckthorn – rosemary
shrub tall to 8 m, about thorny shoots. Oblong leaves, lancetowate. It blooms in April or May before the leaves develop. Yellow flowers, minor. Stone fruit, juicy, oval, yellow or orange in color (as if stuck to the shoots), aromatic, sour or bitter (called the Siberian pineapple), meets in September and October. It grows on the sandy soils of the Baltic Sea coast, places in the Pieniny Mountains, always in sunny areas.
