PRODUCTION OF HAMBER SHOT AND VINE

hazelMANUFACTURING OF HAIR BUSH
Hazel bushes are reproduced by horizontal or vertical lay-ups. Mother plants are planted in rows distant from each other by 2,0-2,5 m, and in rows more or less what 1,0 m. Horizontal laps are made in the third or fourth year, for this purpose bending older shoots. Young shoots grow vertically from horizontally arranged shoots, which when they reach heights 15-20 cm is covered with earth. Vertical lays are obtained by very strong pruning of mother plants in height 3-4 mesh. Young shoots grow from the plugs remaining above the ground, which is showered with earth. The further care for horizontal and vertical dumps is the same, as vegetative rootstocks for fruit trees.
Rooted shoots (lay-ups) is planted after shortening for one or two years to the nursery. After reaching the dimensions specified in the standard, the hazel bushes are dug out and sold.

PRODUCTION OF VINE SHOTS
Vine bushes are propagated most often by woody cuttings, 2-3-mesh. They are prepared from shoots cut in late autumn before frost. These seedlings are kept in a storage room, covered with moist sand and placed in the nursery in mid-April. After one year of cultivation, the rooted plants reach the dimensions specified by the standard.
The grapevine can also be propagated by herbaceous cuttings, lay-ups, and also by grafting on selected rootstocks.
